About this Event
This is a fast-paced introduction to a variety of techniques used that screen printers use to produce items with finishes and textures that can't be replicated by any other method. You’ll get to explore everything from hand-cut stencils using paper or mylar to photographic emulsions that create very fine details. You’ll learn what to buy and where to purchase different kinds of supplies. You can create individual posters using water-based inks, as well as a t-shirt with plastisol inks. Our lab equipment ranges from simple, homemade machines to commercial-quality machines, so you can try different options to see which fits your style. This is a small class to ensure that you will have a fantastic experience with tons of tips and tricks. No experience required; beginners are welcome!
