Tuesday, September 16, 2025 5-6pm "Catapults"
Students will launch learning into new heights as they design, build, and test their own catapults. Students will build and take home a catapult.
Tuesday, September 30, 2025 5-6pm "Density/Lava Lamp"
Students will discover density with hands-on STEM activities. Students will make their own magical bottle lava lamp to take home.
$10 Annual Facility Use Fee applies for those NEW to Music Suite 408 or those needing to update for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Meet your educator:
Sara O'Dell attended Michigan State University and Southern Illinois University pursuing Science degrees in Zoology and Chemistry. While attending school, Sara assisted in several different research laboratories, including anatomy, microbiology, biochemistry and entomology, After moving to the area she worked as a chemist for several years at a local chemical company. Since 2017 she has led the STEM table at a local summer day camp. Sara shares her passion for traveling, nature and the outdoors with her husband and three children.
