DKMS will be in the old shop area by Main Reception to raise awareness and register potential stem cell donors. The team will include a stem cell donor and transplantee, sharing their experiences and answering any questions you may have.
Registration is very simple - all it takes are 3 little cheek swabs and a few minutes of your time.
Every 14 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. Often, after other therapies have failed, patients need a blood stem cell transplant from another person.
Currently, 4 out of 10 patients won’t find a match on the stem cell register.
We need your help: by joining the stem cell register, you could provide a second chance at life for patients waiting to find a match.

Each patient who needs a stem cell transplant requires a genetic ‘match’ with a potential donor. This can be like finding a needle in a haystack, which is why we need as many people as possible on the register.
Together, we can find a matching donor for every patient
