$18 adv - $20 dos - Tickets sales begin in OctoberDescribed by Nashville Scene as the artist “carrying the banner for a new generation of folk musicians”, Stella’s goal is to bring folk music to a new generation, describing her sound as “Gen Z Folk”. She recently made history as the youngest performer at this year’s Tin Pan South, AmericanaFest, and was the first solo artist to headline France’s Bluegrass in La Roche Music Festival. This past year has been a breakthrough for Stella.
Stella’s EP was named one of the “Best Albums of 2024” by No Depression. The lead single off the EP, “Two Faced”, which shot to #2 on the NACC Folk Charts, is the only standalone single to reach this milestone. Stella’s EP became the #2 Most Downloaded record across ALL GENRES, the only folk album, solo female performer, and one of the only independent releases to do so, charting at #1 on the Official Folk Charts, and in the Top 20 on the Alt Country Charts.

Stella has been selling out venues across the country, and even overseas! You won't want to miss your chance to see this fast-rising folk-singer in such an intimate listening environment. Only 55 tickets are available for this show.
Grand Rapids-based Americana-Folk and Bluegrass band, 'Red Thyme,' will open up the evening at 7pm. Red Thyme is a folk-strings music collective fronted by songwriting and vocal powerhouse, Hals Smedstad, and their partner, Jerry Wenger, who is a clever composer, clean producer, and a picker of tasty licks. Separate, they are forces to be reckoned with, and together they are a powerful musical force that is constantly pushing the boundaries between traditional and contemporary Americana genres like; Traditional Folk, Bluegrass, Western Swing, Manouche Jazz, Country, Post-Revival Folk, Blues, Jazz, and at times even traces of Indie and Psychedelic Rock music.
The group also features Jeff Valensky on double bass, and this performance ONLY will also feature Keala Venema (Whorled, Candid Antics,) on fiddle, and Ben Traverse on banjo. All in all, they comprise a small but mighty unit of the quickly unfurling Americana/Bluegrass scene in West Michigan that has ushered in other incredible artists like Lindsey Lou, Billy Strings, and Full Cord. Most importantly, Red Thyme carefully integrates their youthful, outside-of-the-box creative thinking with the traditional sensibilities of Americana and Folk to innovate evolved, yet familiar, and nostalgic soundscapes that are sure to carry on the tradition of roots music in a modern world.
