Stella Angelica: Great American Songbook

Stella started singing at an early age and has always been especially passionate about RnB, Soul, Gospel and Pop. At 16 she was introduced to Classical music by her singing teacher and by 19 Stella was awarded a scholarship position to train at The Royal Northern College of music in Classical and Opera studies.

After leaving College Stella immersed herself in the London Jazz scene, performing and learning from some of the UK's finest Jazz musicians.

This interesting musical journey means Stella brings uniqueness and authenticity to the music she sings. Whether it’s Jazz standards, classic Soul & RnB or modern-day Pop, her passion and connection to the music is clear and her emotive presence on stage is captivating.

Stella performs regularly across London where she holds several residencies as well as writing and recording her own original music.

ABOUT THE VENUE:

Jools Holland is Patron of Music at Boisdale of Belgravia which was founded in 1989. It is a lively, warm and atmospheric restaurant with a number of spaces, including the atrium roofed Macdonald Bar and restaurant, the lovely Courtyard Garden, and the comfortable Cigar Terrace, Speakeasy Whisky Bar, three private dining rooms, live music every night, wonderful modern and classical British cuisine and a superb wine list.

Parking is always possible close by after 6.30 pm without a permit.
