As she explains herself:
"This album is very special to me as it reflects some of my most meaningful travels, from snowy mountains to the beaches of Brighton and unforgettable Iceland. It is also a journey through childhood memories that have resurfaced, often sparked by revisiting places I thought were forgotten or by reuniting with people I hadn’t seen in years.
Additionally, the album includes a deeply personal chapter about my hospital experience, both as a patient and as a family member of a patient. Through these tracks, I delved into my inner self, believing that many listeners might find something of themselves in the emotions and reflections I share.
Each track has its own life, and, as the title I Have Been Here suggests, represents a piece of my past and present. "
