The SCS October dance is a special one this year- we're sharing it with Pittsburgh Contra! We're joining them in their regular space and time slot (NOTE: DAY AND LOCATION CHANGES) to bring yinz a night of both squares AND contra!Contra is a traditional dance style similar to square dancing that originates from English and Scottish country dance. It is also done with a live caller and band, and many figures overlap between the two styles. This dance will include both contra and squares from a caller adept at both. All dances will be taught beforehand and called throughout.
