Steel City Clerks Fundraising Concert.The Steel City Clerks are the adult singers of the Steel City Choristers – an innovative and independent choir of children and adults in the cathedral tradition.
Founded in 2020, they are passionate about the power of music to change lives, and so their aim is to make their cathedral-style choral music as accessible as possible to people who wouldn’t normally have the chance to enjoy it. They serve a wide range of churches and communities in and around Sheffield through a diverse programme of services, concerts and projects.
This concert will be in aid of the Steel City Choristers Berlin tour fund, helping to raise money to get the choir to Berlin in August 2025. They are hoping to be there for a week and will perform in places such as the Berlin Cathedral.
Program will include works by Adrian Batten, Hildegard von Bingen, Johannes Brahms, Ken Burton, William Byrd, Edward Elgar, Imogen Holst, Felix Mendelssohn, Max Reger, Clara Schumann, Heinrich Schütz, Richard Strauss, Thomas Tallis and William Walton.

Tickets: £12.00 plus booking fee. All tickets sold online via TICKET SOURCE, no tickets on the door.
