Join us for our Steel Beach Luau aboard the LEX! You won’t want to miss out on this family fun the Hawaiian-inspired summer celebration includes live music from The Island Boogie Steel Drum Band, a taste of the tropics dining experience, a cash bar, a limbo contest with Lieutenant LEX and exclusive evening access to tour the Flight Deck.
Tickets prices are as follows (includes food and fun):
General Admission Military & Museum Members

Children (ages 4-12) - $25.00 Children (ages 4-12) - $20.00

The event ticket does not include General Admission to the Museum during normal business hours. USS Lexington Museum hours on June 12th are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for General Admission guests.
In historic naval tradition, sailors aboard aircraft carriers, battleships, and submarines would occasionally suspend regular operations and throw steel beach picnics on flight decks, main decks, and surfaced backs to give overworked crews a day to unwind, enjoy some sunshine and entertainment, and remember that life exists outside of their posts and duty stations. We pay tribute to those who served aboard USS Lexington as we continue this grand tradition and welcome visitors to celebrate a summer evening aboard with their families.
