Our Second Sunday STEAM Speakers Series will highlight the fascinating people and places that make our modern world tick. Come join us to hear from scientists, engineers, community organizers, volunteers, policy makers, artists, and more as they give us a peek behind the curtain of the world we all share. This is a program for anyone who's ever wanted to know more about what it's like to get a book published, work at a museum, run a community garden, build a robot, make a video game, animate a cartoon, or anything else you can think of.
Each month we'll host a different speaker who will give a presentation about their experiences with STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art & Math) and how those experiences shaped their hobbies, passions, careers, and communities. After the talk, Motor City Alliance will provide hands-on demonstrations and experiential learning activities that relate to the presentation.
We're still finalizing our list of speakers, so watch this space!
