We are beyond excited to announce our first of many DJ/music workshops from the STEAM Radio MCR team, led by its incredible residents and guests. First up we have Shifting Spheres delivering their first Beginners DJ workshop since the end of lockdown. What more can you ask for!
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to mix on both CDJs and vinyl or to take your love for music to another level, this workshop may be the one for you.

This program will be aimed toward complete/inexperienced beginners with no DJ experience required. Space priority will go to minorities e.g. WOC, QTIPOC, LGBTQ+ or low-income/unemployed so we encourage individuals from marginalised groups to apply.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn DJing on both CDJ’s and vinyl. Not only will you learn the basics of mixing, but it will also be amazing opportunity to meet like-minded people. These workshops will be pay-as-you-feel and also include lunch!
The deadline for this application is 12:00 GMT on the 13th of September. Applicants will be informed of their place by email by the 16th of September.
