About this Event
*** Current and future STEAM Pros IGNITE AND INSPIRE via monthly "Pop-up" engagements that bring together current community professionals at their workplaces and the next generation of learners (children/students thru college) through on-site tours and explorations of various STEAM topics.
The goal is to provide learners with exposure to industry and career opportunities in a "take your kid to work day" style. "Big kids" and next gen pros welcome - build relationships and future together.
Join us in October as we launch a multi-month focus on High Tech Opportunity - Agenda:
- 4:00 pm - Arrivals
- 4:15 pm - Welcome, Introductions and Why
- 4:30 pm - "Explore Silicon Forest High Tech" presented by former Intel Engineer, Erik Mace, with special guests sharing on History, Opportunities, and Careers in High Tech in PDX
- 5:00 pm - Q&A
- 5:30 pm - Wrap
