Join us for an illuminating hands-on experience at our STEAM Night! Discover the science behind early photography by building your very own Camera Obscura—a fascinating optical device that led to the invention of the modern camera. Learn the basic physics of light, lenses, and image projection. Our monthly STEAM Challenge for older elementary - middle school-aged kids is a fun and engaging way to introduce children to STEAM concepts. This program will be held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Pomeroy Library beginning at 5:00 p.m.
In November, Ms. Haley will provide all the supplies to create your own camera obscura. Learn the science behind how cameras work while making your own version out of simple supplies.
