STEAM Night: Art of Ballooning An evening of creativity for curious minds of all ages
Artists and creatives have been captivated by the beauty and wonder of ballooning since the first balloon launch in 1783. From historic illustrations to contemporary photography, unique works inspired by ballooning can be found in museums and personal collections around the world.
The Balloon Museum invites the community to explore this rich intersection of science, technology, engineering, art, and math at STEAM Night: Art of Ballooning, an engaging, all-ages event designed to spark creativity and curiosity.
Guests will have the opportunity to try their hand at:
● balloon-inspired artwork, paired with a special Curators talk with a peak into the Balloon Museum's art collection
● experiment with photography techniques,
● and watch live art demonstrations that bring the beauty of ballooning to life.
The evening will also feature:
● balloon crafts,
● live music by Ryan Smith,
● and food available from The Munchie Truck.
