Hands-On Edible Education Opportunities for Kids
Join us for a Summer Cooking Skills Class – These classes will teach essential cooking skills, all while making some delicious recipes to eat!
Age 7-12
Becoming a master of anything begins with curiosity, and cooking is all about experimenting with flavors, textures and colors. When we cook with our child, we provide opportunities for learning science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Menu to Include:
Understanding Yeast (Personal Pizzas)
Solar Oven Smores
Emulsions (Making a Vinaigrette and Zucchini Spaghetti)
Pease Note: We require all children to wear closed toe shoes, bring an apron, and tie long hair back. This is a drop-off class; no parents are permitted to stay during class time. All parents must sign a waiver upon drop off. We are not an allergy-free kitchen; some accommodation may be possible with notice. We reserve the right to cancel or change menu / chef talent without notice.
