Stealing Time

Time seems to go by faster every day, but the music of our youth can take
us back in time. Stealing Time brings back the good old days and provides
an antidote to the march of time with an eclectic mix of classic rock, pop,
and soul from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.

Stealing Time has quickly established a reputation for energetic shows that
entertain audiences and get them moving. Great songs never go out of
style, and Stealing Time plays the songs that their audience loves - songs
by artists ranging from Bruce Springsteen to Tom Petty, John Mellencamp
to Billy Idol, and Van Morrison to Steely Dan.

Stealing Time is Kevin Brown (lead vocals), Jeff Kline (lead guitar), Tony
Watson (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Bob Dzialowski (soprano, alto, and
tenor saxophone), Bob DiEmidio (bass guitar), and Shawn Pennington
(drums, vocals).

Kevin started singing in high school, and his high-energy performances
have been entertaining people ever since. His engaging personality makes
the audience feel like long-time friends of his, and his commanding stage
presence keeps the party going.

Jeff studied music at Denison University, and has a wide-ranging
repertoire that exceeds that of many guitarists twice his age. He is an in-demand
guitarist because of his technical skill, musical ear, and unique
ability to complement the musicianship of his fellow band members.

Tony studied music the University of Notre Dame and is a multi-instrumentalist
who has worked as a studio musician and performed in
symphony orchestra and chamber music groups, jazz combos and big
bands, and rock/pop cover, tribute, and originals bands.

Bob Działowski started playing alto saxophone when he was 10 years old and added soprano saxophone and tenor saxophone over the years. He’s
a busy liturgical musician at four churches in the North Hills of Pittsburgh,
entertains senior living facility residents, and performs as part of a
successful duet with a local vocalist.
Bob DiEmidio has played bass his whole life, and his energetic style draws
from his passion for groove, rock, jam, progressive, and funk musical
styles. With musical influences ranging from John Paul Jones to David
Bowie to Mel Schacher to Flea, Bob has been the strong foundation to
several successful Western Pennsylvania bands.

Shawn has been playing drums for as long as he can remember. His
musical versatility has made him a “go-to” drummer for worship bands as
well as straight-ahead rock/pop cover and tribute bands. Shawn’s
“hidden” talent is his voice that always complements the lead vocalist in
any group that he plays in.
