★ It will have been 17 years since Lux's ascendancy into the ether and, as is tradition, we will be celebrating the life and music of The Cramps and one of, if not 'thee' greatest frontmen of all time.
★ STAY SICK will be dedicated to dee-jaying the music that inspired Lux and The Cramps and their psycho garage punk contemporaries. Not to mention a whole B-movie sci-fi rocket ship load of CRAMPS, CRAMPS, CRAMPS!!!

★ We've collared THREE yes, THREE Cramps mad bands to "tear it up" with renditions of some of their favourite Cramps songs and songs The Cramps taught them!!!!
★ Not to mention your favourite STAY SICK dee-jays + guests will be spinning Raging 50s Rockabilly, THE CRAMPS, Wild Rhythm & Blues & RnR, THE CRAMPS, 60's Sci-Fi Surf, THE CRAMPS, Odd Ball Weirdo Delights, THE CRAMPS, 70s New York Punk Rock n Roll and oh yeah, did we mention - THE CRAMPS!!!

★ LUX INTERIOR RIP (1946-2009) ★
★ Born ERICK LEE PURKHISER on the 21st October 1946 'LUX' passed away on the 4th February 2009 at the age of 62.
★ "Lux seemed like a creature from another world, with one foot already out of this dimension. As much as we might wonder 'Where are you now?' we can also wonder 'Where on Earth did you come from?' Now that's a mystery!" - Poison Ivy 2009 at Lux's memorial service.
★ "Thee Mojo Man From Mars, The Ding Dong Daddy of Diddy Wah Diddy" Lux was arguably THEE GREATEST FRONTMAN OF ALL TIME. He changed our lives and introduced us to whole new world of rebel music, wild musicians, sci-fi, horror, mondo B-movies and trash culture!

ABOUT THE VENUE AND ACCESSABILITY:
⚡️The Hope & Ruin is a pub and live venue on two floors.
⚡️All evening live show attendees must be 18 years +
⚡️The Hope & Ruin runs a 'safe space' policy and any form of discrimination towards its staff and customers will not be tolerated.
⚡️Access: There is one step to get into the building via the main entrance and two steps to down to gain access to the main bar on the ground floor. On the ground floor there are male and female toilets up 3 steps. There is also a gender neutral/disabled access toilet that is level with the venue entrance and two steps up from the ground floor bar.
