About J Scott:
J Scott (he goes by "J") is an entrepreneur, real estate investor, advisor, and author who has been featured on platforms like BiggerPockets.

With a background in engineering and business, J built a successful career in Silicon Valley, holding management roles at top tech companies, including Microsoft and eBay, before transitioning to real estate in 2008.

Since then, J and his wife Carol have built an impressive portfolio, buying, building, rehabbing, and holding over $40 million in real estate. He later expanded into large multifamily projects, purchasing over 1,000 units valued at more than $110 million.

J has authored five books on real estate investing, including the best-selling The Book on Estimating Rehab Costs, with over 450,000 copies sold worldwide.

J is also a strategic advisor, mentor, and podcast host, with a passion for helping others succeed in real estate. He currently resides in Sarasota, FL, with his family.
