Every interaction is a stage where power, status, and hierarchy shift—sometimes boldly, sometimes so subtly we barely notice. In this workshop, Julie and Rémi invite you to play with the invisible forces that shape our everyday encounters.
Through beginner friendly exercises, you’ll explore how status isn’t fixed—it breathes, flexes, and flips depending on context, intention, and choice. Learn to signal confidence or deference, and experiment with changing your position in the dynamic dance of interaction.
This beginner-friendly session offers a playful, supportive space to stretch your range—from commanding presence to quiet influence, from center stage to backstage power. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore what happens when you shift how you show up.

💡 Meet the Facilitators
🔥 Meet Julie—one of the most beloved members of our community. As a founding member of The Clap and Destiny, and a cherished member of The Sound of Neuf, she’s a familiar face at our shows and a true inspiration to us all. Julie lights up the stage with her fearless creativity and infectious energy, whether she’s performing in our regular weekly shows or dazzling audiences at international festivals like the Oslo Impro Festival.
Her versatility is evident in everything she does—from her captivating one-woman dinner theater performance in Dubai to her collaborative work with The Clap, a close-knit 12-person team. With The Sound of Neuf, her knack for improvised singing even spills over into her classroom, where she surprises and delights her elementary students with spontaneous tunes.
Offstage, Julie remains refreshingly modest and shy, letting her work speak for itself. Here at Impro Neuf, her rich life experiences and undeniable passion make her a true community treasure.
🔥 Meet Rémi—a warm and playful performer known for his lighthearted presence, signature character voices, and hilarious animal sounds (all with a charming French accent). He brings a sense of ease and familiarity to every room, making people feel welcome and ready to have fun.
Beyond the stage, Rémi works as a Special Needs Educator, creating supportive environments where children can thrive. With a background in psychology and education, he is passionate about helping others build confidence, embrace creativity, and find joy in spontaneity.
🔥 Julie and Rémi are founding members of The Clap, an international team of improvisers based in Oslo that performs in English. Since August 2023, they have been practicing and performing together, showcasing their dynamic chemistry and shared passion for improvisational theater. Their collaborative journey includes eight shows, notably featuring a performance at the Oslo Impro Festival.
