Who – Open to anyone who would like to walk the Stations of the Cross. All denominations are welcome. People without a home church are welcome. Feel free to come alone or with a group.What – Meditating through the 14 Stations of the Cross, but walking to a different place to remember each station.
Where – Start and end at First United Methodist Church at 415 W Main St, Lebanon. You will then walk up and down Main Street and Cumberland Ave through the Lebanon Square to each station, with the path forming a cross. The path will be about 2 miles in total length, but broken up along the way.
When – Good Friday – April 18, 2025 from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. Arrive any time during the day and walk at you own pace.
Why – To personally reflect on the death of Christ with other believers. This will also serve as a reminder of this special day to others in the community. It will remind us of the various churches being the body of Christ.
How – Various local churches will host a station. Each church can man their station throughout the day. Churches are encouraged to make their location connect with their particular station.
