About this Event
St. Ann's custom Stations of the Cross, created by visual artist and parishioner Ben Cowan (bencowan.com), return to the sanctuary in Lent. The fourteen stations depict Christ's passion, in striking abstract, as a gold leaf falling and ascending.
Experience the Stations of the Cross in a whole new way with art-making for all ages. In the Parish Hall, Ben Cowan will lead participants in crafting their own mini gilded leaf panels. Those who are interested can move into the sanctuary. You might explore our beautiful space, sit quietly, meditate, pray, or walk the Stations of the Cross.
We look forward to gathering with you—our friends and neighbors. This time can be as reflective, silly, educational, experiential, spiritual (or not) as you want. All are warmly welcome to join us.
Drop in Saturday, April 5, between 12:00 and 3:00pm. Find St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church at 157 Montague Street, at the corner of Clinton and Montague in Brooklyn Heights.
Please RSVP to ensure we have enough art supplies. Thank you!
