The original location for Static Monsters Worldwide in BC is back again! Come join us at Iron Throne for another day of smashing PRs and moving heavy weight.
This is our fourth year, and in celebration there's going to be a deal on registration - just $4. If you'd like a shirt the option is there and will cost $40 to cover the cost. This is the first year of a required vedor to order the shirts from, and I am unsure of how much it will actually be, but this price is in line with what other shirts they sell. I'll eat the shipping. Other than that be ready to come on out and have a great time.
The rules and regulations are on www.staticmonsters.com, and I strongly recommend reading them. I'll send an email with links closer to the day, and also with the judging training videos so you can make sure you're set up for succcess and there won't be any surprises.
Women's divisions will use a 10" log that starts at 40kg(90 lbs) and an axle and plate combo that starts at 102kg (225 lbs). If this is going to be an issue please let me know asap so we can work around it.
Men's divisions will use a 12" log that starts at 83kg(180lbs) and an axle and plate combo that starts at 142kg(315 lbs). Please let me know again if this needs to be worked around so I can make sure to have what you need there.
I'll put up details of the 24 hour weigh in and schedule closer to the date, but the time window is going to be roughly 10-5 depending on how many athletes register.
