
About this Event

This event is an opportunity to uplift the unheard and underrepresented voices of a movement of peer supporters, advocates, activists, accomplices and others impacted by multiple marginalizations and oppression from the mental health and public health systems. It will also serve as a reminder of why so many of us have fought to raise up the value of peer support and the preservation of so many stories of survival that might otherwise be erased.
The gathering will include speakers, spoken word performances, awards, lunch, networking time and a sneak peak at the .
We invite everyone to join us in this day of recognition and celebration. Even in the face of such a frightening political landscape that seeks to further silence and erase trans, disabled, immigrant, Black and Brown and other devalued and too often villainized communities, we believe we can make a difference and that joy and celebration are forms of resistance, too.
