Drawing both devoted aficionados and curious newcomers Jazz takes center stage at the 37th annual Universal Temple of the Arts Staten Island JAZZ Festival. From the moment you step into the majestic St. George Theatre get ready to immerse yourself in an unforgettable evening of unparalleled musical performances curated by Dr. Darrell Smith featuring Arturo O’Farrill & The Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble Wycliffe Gordon with the Dal Segno Trio The Brianna Thomas Band and the Julie Maniscalco Dectet. The night's festivities will be hosted by Sheila E. Anderson on-air personality at WBGO 88.3 FM whose insightful commentary and passion for jazz will elevate the experience for all attendees. The festival will also honor blues and jazz singer Antoinette Montague acclaimed jazz producer and educator Amilcar Mtu and Richmond County Commissioner and Public Administrator Edwina F.
