Do you wanna take your jewelry making to the next level? Have ever wanted to make multi-stone jewelry, add more demention or decorative elements to your jewelry but not sure how? This hands-on workshop is for you!
Join us to learn how to create bold and unique statement jewelry that will make heads turn!
In this class, we will talk about adding different design elements and teaching you advanced techniques to elevate your jewelry making skills such as:
- How to add demention and decorative trim and other elements to your jewelry
- How to create multi-stone jewelry
- How to make open shank & split shank bands
- Creative way to make bails
- much more....
You will create one chunky statement ring or pendent. This workshop designed to get you well on your way to finishing your piece of jewelry, full disclosure some projects take more than 5 hours and that's ok. Many times folks complete their project but for those that don't, we will offering makespace time to all those that wish to stay to finish or folks can choose to come back another time to finish or folks that have a home studio can choose to finish at home with the abilty to consult us for any issues that come up.
The cost of this workshop includes:
- 1 chunky stone (3/4" to 1") or 2 smaller stones
- Fine silver or sterling silver bezel wire up to 4"
- Sterling silver backplate up to 1 square inch
- Ring shank material or bail material
- And as usually full access to all the tools & chemicals in the studio
Very Imprtant information to know about this workshop:
- This is not a beginners workshop - must have silversmithing experience (at minimum soldering with a torch & basic bezel setting)
- We will have lots & lots of decorative trim & solderable elements for a very reasonable price that way you can pick all the little (or big) bits & bobs you like best!
- You are welcome to bring your own stones and any other bits & bbs that you may want to add to your jewelry.
- It can be a long day so feel free to bring something to drink and snacks if you might want them.
- And don't forget your glasses, reading glasses or optimizers if you might need them (we do have some available).

Must be 16 years of age (unless arranged prior to signing up for class).
Safety Requirements: No loose clothing, long hair must be tied back, must wear close-toed shoes during class. Provided glasses must be worn while soldering, filing & sawing.
