Prior to Experian, Alex was Managing Director at USAA’s Corporate Development Group, where he established USAA Ventures as a key player in FinTech and pioneered investments in blockchain technologies, including Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN). He is a seasoned payments, technology, and internet veteran with over 25 years of experience in Silicon Valley. As VP of Digital Partnerships and Fintech Engagement at Mastercard International, David drives digital partnerships, alliances, and investments with emerging fintech companies. His impressive career includes roles such as SVP of Business Development and Strategy at 24 Hour Fitness, where he played a key role in preparing the company for its successful $1.85 billion sale. David has also led operations at Schedulicity, Topix, InfoGroup, Yahoo, AOL/Netscape, and Motorola. Sheela is now launching a debt fund with a sector focus on fintech, leveraging her extensive expertise and network to support founders and entrepreneurs. The fund is driving towards its first close, with a formal announcement coming soon.
