Last November, CUI assembled more than 1000 leading influencers for CUI’s first annual summit on the State of Canada’s Cities. Together, we took stock of what has been working, what needs improvement, and confirmed an urgent need for place-specific solutions to address national, regional, and local challenges.
Building on this success, we are pleased to announce the second annual State of Canada’s Cities Summit. In collaboration with Presenting Partner, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Research Partner, the School of Cities at the University of Toronto, we invite you to join us.
Canada’s cities are facing a once-in-a-generation challenge to address global economic, social, climate, and technological needs. We must invest in infrastructure across communities to ensure Canada can compete globally and thrive locally. Equitable housing, sustainable economic development, effective climate adaptation, and accessible mobility each depend on critical investments coming from the public, private, institutional, and community sectors.
