Join us for the fourth annual State of Black Detroit, a powerful free community event bringing together leaders, activists, and neighbors to share resources, foster unity, and explore actionable strategies for improving the quality of life in Detroit's Black community.
This year’s theme, "The Personal is Political," emphasizes personal accountability as a cornerstone of collective empowerment. Khary Frazier (Detroit is Different) and Dr. Yusef Bunchy Shakur (Community Movement Builders) lead this impactful discussion, featuring a special address from Carolyn Baker (General Baker Institute).
