The Startup Summit 1.0 a student-led initiative will take place at SRM Institute of Science and Technology on 23rd and 24th September. Jointly organized by the Department of Computing Technologies (SRMIST) and the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Innovation this summit is open to students faculty and industry professionals.We are honored to welcome Dr. R. Raghuttama Rao CEO GDC at IIT Madras and Gen. Karanbir Singh Brar Distinguished Strategic Advisor – IITM Pravartak as our Guests of Honor for the inauguration of Startup Summit 1.0.
The summit features five flagship events designed to spark creativity collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking:
· Pravartan – A pre-summit Ideathon Workshop to help students refine ideas develop innovative solutions and learn effective pitching strategies.

· Thalir – A Startup Pitching Session where young entrepreneurs present their ventures to a panel of experts mentors and investors.

· Tharanga Sangamam – An interactive talk series featuring inspiring stories and insights from founders innovators and leaders in academia and industry.

· BharatBuild – A low-code hackathon where teams use AI tools to create innovative prototypes addressing real-world challenges with minimal coding- An Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Initiative: Ideas for Village Development. Date: 24th September | Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
· FinSmart – A financial literacy and strategy workshop where participants design impactful financial solutions balance budgets and pitch ideas.
