Starting up your own business: An introductory course

Have you always wanted to start your own business but have lots of questions you need a bit of help with?
Join me on Wednesday December 10th 2025 from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. for a half-day course here in Blackpool where I will cover the basics of starting a business. I have over 30 years of experience in finance and have successfully set up four small businesses.
Topics covered will include the cost of starting up, trading identity, invoicing, sales and purchase ledger, payment methods, contract law, terms and conditions, record keeping, HMRC, and more.
The course is designed for those with little or no experience and will be limited to eight people.
The cost of the course, including coffee, tea, and biscuits, is £50.00 per person.
