Led by experts from the Institute for Nonprofit Administration and Research, this session will provide the tools and templates you need to turn your vision into a viable and sustainable organization.
Participants will learn how to:
Determine if forming a nonprofit is the right path
Draft a mission statement that inspires and informs
Navigate the legal steps to incorporate and obtain 501(c)(3) status
Understand the state-specific requirements for Louisiana nonprofits
Develop a basic budget and governance structure
