Start-up and Grow Two Day Workshop

This workshop is part of a programme of support. You will be required to register onto the Start-Up and Grow programme in order to access the support that is available. A member of the team will follow up on your booking within a week to make sure that the programme meets your needs. Priority will be given to Leeds residents.

Our start-up and Grow programme offers access to a series of interactive workshops designed to guide individuals through the basics of starting and growing their ideas. From planning to marketing, we’ll help you build the skills and confidence to kickstart your business.

2 Day workshop Programme details:

Day One - Monday 15/07/24 - 9.30 - 17.00

9.30 - 10.00 - Registration and introduction to BIPC Leeds

10.00-12.00 - Business Planning with Janet Doran

12.00 - 12.30 - lunch

12.30 - 15.30 Financial Strategy: Pricing a product or service/ Cash flow forecasting with Gareth Allen

15.30 - 17.00 - Networking

Day two – Tuesday 16/07/2024, 9.30 - 17.00

9.30 - 9.45 - Arrival/ tea & coffee

9.45-12.45 - Introduction to Marketing with Rebecca Hopwood

12.45-13.15 - lunch

13.15-15.15 - Sales with Andrew Gibson

15.15 - 17.00 - Networking

Light Lunch provided on both days

• In addition to the 2 Day workshops. The Start-Up and Grow programme includes separate workshops on Tax and bookkeeping, and also other themed networking huddles.
• Access to these additional sessions will be provided to you when you are fully registered onto the programme.

The Start-up and Grow project is being delivered by Leeds City Council and Leeds Libraries, and is part funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). In West Yorkshire the West Yorkshire Combined Authority leads the implementation of the Fund as party of the Mayor's ambition to make West Yorkshire the best place to work, learn and live.
