OUR NEW BLOCK OF BLUES DANCE CLASSES STARTS APRIL 15th!19:30 - 20:30 Improvers
For those who’ve mastered the basics, the Improvers Classes are where the real groove begins. This level focuses on rhythm, idiom dances, personal style, and adding that special touch of funk and groove to your dancing. It is for the people who are not afraid to dive deeper into their quality of movement, so we can help you express yourself fully and connect more deeply with the music.
20:30 - 21:30 Beginners
Our Beginners Classes are designed to give you a strong foundation in Blues dancing. You’ll follow these classes for at least a year, but rest assured—they’ll never get boring as there is new material in every block! Here, you’ll learn the fundamentals of Blues aesthetics, the differences between Jukin’ and Ballroom, and how to dance the night away with confidence. Most importantly, you’ll have loads of fun connecting with the music and your dance partner.
21:30-23:00 Social Dance
Directly after the beginners classes there will be time to practice what you learned, and dance your butts off at our (almost) weekly Blues Social Dance: Backroom Blues!
