Our beloved 1968 Carl Zeiss Mark VI star projector was installed at the Strasenburgh Planetarium the same year that it opened. This original projector is nicknamed "Carl" by the community and has been entertaining families for generations. Carl is elderly as far as projectors go, but he still shows once a month! This Zeiss projector is the last of its kind still performing shows in the Americas.
