You might be surprised how bright the stars are just 20 miles from downtown Las Vegas! Bring your family and join the Las Vegas Astronomical Society for an evening of star gazing with their excellent telescopes and knowledgeable guidance. This event will be held after regular park hours (5 PM to 8:30 PM) in our group use area and warm clothes are highly recommended. Also, red light flash lights or headlamps are preferred as they help keep our eyes adjusted to the dark and makes for better viewing for all.
We ask that you please leave your pets at home as there are many tripping hazards and sensitive and expensive equipment that could easily be damaged.
There is a $10 per vehicle cash only entrance fee and we highly recommend bringing exact change to help move the line of cars through the fee station.
We will stop entry to this event at 8:00 pm. Any vehicles arriving after 8:00 pm will not be allowed into the park.
