Central Illinois is an excellent place to stargaze, but it can be hard to know where to begin. We’ll talk about sky objects which can be seen from Central Illinois throughout the year and some free-to-use stargazing resources. We’ll also discuss the upcoming Geminid meteor shower, which peaks in December and is visible from the nearby Middle Fork Dark Sky site.Presented by the University of Illinois Astronomy Department
