About this Event
When CB’s beloved dog dies, he’s thrown into a spiral of grief, big questions, and unexpected discoveries about love, friendship, and identity. Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead is an unflinching, darkly funny, and deeply moving play that reimagines familiar childhood characters as troubled teens navigating bullying, sexuality, mental health, and belonging. Both irreverent and heartfelt, this cult favorite asks: what happens when innocence ends and growing up gets complicated?
Dog Sees God contains mature themes—drug and alcohol use, bullying, sexuality, mental health struggles, and strong language. Because of that, the performance is recommended for teens and adults.
Stargazer’s 2025 season is proudly sponsored by the Art Flores Memorial.
