EVENT DESCRIPTION
“Mustafar Hold Out” - 1000 points
In 19 BBY, the Clone Wars were brought to a swift end. The Separatist Council had been brutally murdered on Mustafar by newly anointed Darth Vader and the vast droid armies of the Separatists shutdown.
A Geonosian by the name of Gizor Dellso visited the planet Mustafar in order to ascertain the fate of the Separatist Council that was last reported hiding on the planet. Dellso found the rotting remains of the Separatist Council as they lay after Darth Vader murdered them. Angered at this Dellso fired up the factory on Mustafar to once again produce battle droids for his new army.
Recognizing the threat that Dellso posed to the Empire, in 12 BBY, the Empire invaded Mustafar to teach the bold Geonosian that the Clone Wars were well and truly over. Darth Vader along with the 501st Legion attacked Dellso's forces as well as his factories.
As the battle progressed Dellso fought hard against the Empire, personally leading his troops against Vader and his famed unit of stormtroopers. Eventually the Empire decided to bombard the entire factory site from orbit, reducing the dreams of a new droid army beneath mountains of molten slag and twisted metal. Dellso and his Separatist holdout faction were entirely destroyed during the fierce battle.
In your hands can you change the fates of the CIS or will Vader prove too powerful yet again.
SPECIAL LIST BUILD OPTION
Vader's 501st: Republic lists may not include any Force users but may bring Darth Vader as a commander or operative. Republic may also include these amounts of Empire units in their lists: 2 corps, 1 special, 1 support, 1 heavy.
Dellso's Remnant: Separatist lists may not include any Force users. Lists that bring Poggle the Lesser (Dellso) may have up to 8 corps instead of the usual 6. Separatists may also include these amounts of Rebels in their list (Mustafar Militia): 2 corps, 1 special, 1 support, 1 heavy.
Lists may also be built as normal including battle forces. Separatist and Republic is preferred but you are welcome to bring any faction!
