Ever wanted to learn how to play one of the coolest Star Wars Miniature Games out there?Well, as those of us who love Wargaming know, getting into the game can be seem pretty daunting to new players or even those with a casual interest in the game/hobby. How do you build the models? How do you paint them? How do you even PLAY THE GAME? It can be a lot to take in all at once and we don’t want that to get in the way of all the fun the game has to offer! The purpose of the Learn to Play day is to help people learn the basics of all, of the above. To answer the questions everyone wants to ask and isn’t sure they have time for, and even a few they didn’t even know where to begin asking! Often-times, it can be difficult to find someone to answer these questions, or time to show you the ropes. We want to take the stress out of learning a great game and help people join our community.
We will be going over the updated rules, so if its your first time learning or if you are a vet that wants to know the changes, this learn to play day is for you!
Demos:
We will have a few tables set-up so people can come in and learn the rules of the game, and generally just hit the ground running!
We will have pre-built/painted forces from Star Wars at the ready to tear each other to ribbons at your beck and call (as well as people to help you figure out the ruleset). So, if you ever wanted to learn the game itself, or are just curious about coming back to the game with its new ruleset after a break, this will be a great opportunity to jump back in.
