STAR Summer Camp: RockSTAR Guitar Camp (Grades 6 - 8)

Campers will learn the essentials of rock guitar playing, including the most common chords and rhythms, some classic guitar riffs, some favorite lead guitar moves, and even a few specialty techniques for maximum rock star status! The week will conclude with a performance for parents.

Equipment required: a guitar (acoustic or electric) and a supply of picks. If electric is chosen, you are encouraged to bring along a small practice amp if you have one, as well as a guitar cord for plugging in. Tuners are optional but highly encouraged.
