We invite you to bring your most cosmic selves to a night at the museum unlike any other. We’re throwing a closing party for "Charles Ross: Mansions of the Zodiac" on September 5, 2025. Ross’s work offers a mysterious, alluring backdrop for live music by Dallas Acid, an outdoor DJ set by pretty666, astrology readings by Sage the Cosmic, and stargazing with UNM-Taos—all included with your ticket. Guests can take a break from dancing to explore the museum galleries, which will remain open throughout the event.
Dallas Acid is a “synth-heavy dreampop trio” with “inspiration from 1970s German and French electronic music, early minimalism, and ambient music. Since 2015, they’ve been performing live in planetariums, galleries, theaters, churches, and many other unconventional spaces." Learn more at https://www.dallasacid.com.
In the backyard, pretty666 will perform a very special DJ set inspired by dream life—offering a glimpse of everything beyond but rooted in the dream moments held by the heart. Her set will contrast the brightest light with the darkest presence, blending cerebral techno, dubstep and sparkling pop.
Cocktails will be available under the stars from a pop-up bar by Taos’ own Rolling Still Distillery. We encourage everyone to dress celestially—whether as a creature of the universe, a space body, or in any fashion inspired by your interpretation of the cosmos. Costumes are not required.
Tickets are available online or at the door. Our special “Superstar” ticket supports Harwood Public Programs and offers special access during the event. All are welcome.
