During this program, you will explore our sky during this program that starts with our daytime sky.
We will discover the time of day based on focused observations of the Sun, explore why the Moon and Sun appear to move across the sky and learn where rainbows come from and why they are so important to scientists. As the sun sets, we will discover the constellations, learn about light pollution, and see a fascinating image of a star cluster full of different colors and temperatures of stars. We’ll note the colors and temperatures of other stars and how they are tied to one another.
