Dillon Carmichael and Meghan Patrick headline the 2025 Star-B-Q concert at the Salem Farmers Market on Tuesday, September 16. Carmichael and Patrick are the latest rising stars to play the annual fall concert that has featured the likes of Clint Black, Billy Currington, Lauren Alaina, Montgomery Gentry, and Jordan Davis in past years.Carmichael grew up in the tiny town of Burgin, Kentucky in the central part of the state. He came from a musical family that included several other musicians, including two of his uncles: singers John Michael Montgomery and Eddie Montgomery from Montgomery Gentry. His style mixes outlaw style country and Southern Rock. In August 2018, Carmichael made his Grand Ole Opry debut, where he had spent a year and half as a security guard at the Opry from 2015-2016.
Patrick hails from the outskirts of Toronto, Canada. She has one number one Canada Country hit with "Walls Come Down" and has been touring for over a decade. She credits her smooth guitar skills and strong vocals to the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris and Aretha Franklin as her influences.
