At long last and after many setbacks and delays we can announce that the dedication service of the memorial to the crew of Sterling bomber LJ 630 that crashed at Stanton-by-Dale, will take place on Sunday 31st of August.The short service will be conducted by the Reverend Phil Selby commencing at 13.45 at the crash site next to Grove Farm on Dale Road, Stanton-by-Dale DE7 4PE.
It would be great if you could come along to be part of the dedication, and to share the moment with the family members of the crew who are travelling from across the country for the occasion.
If you are able to join us please allow extra time to access the off-road parking a short distance from the memorial site.
We look forward to seeing you on the day.
