Located around 2 and a half hours to the south west of Brisbane, the Granite Belt regions is THE apple-and-grape-winter-escape, and is undoubtedly the wine capital of Queensland. If you thought QLD wine wasn't up to scratch, this trip will make you think again! The highlight of the trip is sipping on mulled wine in front of a bonfire, watching the sun go down at Summit Estate.
We'll bus you from Brisbane and around to all locations on the tour, so you'll be able to wine-taste at ease, without worrying about having to drive at any point. There'll be plenty of wine, as well trips to Stanthorpe Cheese (lunch) and Vicenzo's big Apple. Dinner will be pizza at Summit Estate, in front of the bonfire with mulled wine. For lunch you'll get to try 12 cheeses before choosing you might like to add to a sandwhich or toastie. At Ridgemill Estate, as well as tasting a selection of their delectable wines, you'll also be able to feed the goats.
From May 13th, we'll include the option of home pickup for groups, provided you are in a central or south-western suburb. (If you're not sure, send us an enquiry at our website). Otherwise it's $115 and we meet you at Roma St Bus Stop 125 at 8:00am in the morning. This is opposite the Police Station near Makerston St and you'll receive a map in your confirmation email. We should get you back to Roma st by 9:00pm; It's a big day as there's lots to see!
