Stanmer Organics is opening its gates to the public for it's annual free Open Day event on Sat July 26th from 11am to 4pm. This is the once in a year chance to visit all eighteen of the wonderful projects that operate here.
Projects include organic food, herbs and flower growing, well-being projects and arts and crafts projects.
Wander around through nature and take time to chat to volunteers and project directors. Stop for an organic chai tea or a bowl of lentil dhal. Visit stone and wood sculpture exhibitions.
Projects include Fork & Dig It, Brighton Permaculture Trust, Ecotherapy, Stanmer Sauna, Special Branch Nursery, Brighton Grub Hub, Hearts & Flowers and Living Vital.
We train tomorrow's organic market gardeners, we grow veg for local foodbanks, we plant community orchards across the city, we run wood craft workshops, we give people space and support to be in mentally well in nature, we run herbal tea clubs, we work with refugees sharing food and growing skills, we teach wicker basket making and we can even offer you a therapeutic sauna!

Pop up cafes and live music. Bird song and friends. Organic Kale and even a sauna in the woods. Beautiful stone sculptures and herbal remedies. Seedlings and vegan lunches.

Catch the 78 bus to Stanmer Village. Paid parking available by One Garden.
In the middle of the countryside vibe and yet just 20 mins on the bus from centre Brighton.
