About this Event
Join us for a day of uplifting immigrant rights and community. We'll have Mil Mujeres, Opening Doors, NorCal Resist, and My Sister's House.
A Seat at the Table Books supports and stands with our immigrant community, and stands in solidarity against the ICE invasions across the U.S.
About the Orgs:
Mil Mujeres is a non-profit organization established in 2007 to meet the escalating demand for bilingual legal services within the immigrant community in the United States. Our primary focus is on aiding survivors of violent crimes, encompassing domestic violence, sexual assault, and criminal assault.
Opening Doors’ mission is to enrich communities by supporting immigrants, refugees, and survivors of trafficking on their path to stability, self-sufficiency, and belonging.
NorCal Resist is a group of community members organizing for a better world through infrastruction against oppression and empowering local communities through resources and shared support.
My Sister's House serves Asian and Pacific Islander and other underserved women and children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking by providing a culturally appropriate and responsive safe haven, job training, and community services.
