Standing Against Violence: Personal Safety Workshops

This October, in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we’re hosting a series of free personal safety and defense workshops to support, educate, and empower our community.

Together, we’ll focus on:

• Awareness & prevention skills: recognizing red flags and trusting your instincts.
• Verbal strategies: setting boundaries and using your voice with confidence.
• Simple, effective defense skill training: easy-to-learn skills for real-life situations.

Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where participants can learn practical tools, build confidence, and connect with others who are also committed to standing against violence.

• No prior experience required
• All genders and ages (13+) welcome
