Cancellation Policy is 7 business days prior to course start date for full refund
Just prior to the course start date, I will be sending an email with my COVID-19 Safety Plan and the classroom expectations before everyone arrives. I will ask you reply to confirm that email that it has been reviewed.
Certification will be issued from The Lifesaving Society of BC/YK & WorksafeBC and will be valid for 3 years of date of issue.
Temporary cards valid for 60 days are issued upon successful course completion. Permanent cards will be emailed directly from The Lifesaving Society within that time-frame.
After successful completion of the full SFA course you only need attend an 8hr SFA recert and/or a 4hr CPR-C recert to keep standards current with updates & practice.
The Lifesaving Society of BC/YT is equivalent to The Canadian Red Cross, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, St John Ambulance and the Canadian Ski Patrol.

Course description:
Standard First Aid is a WorkSafeBC Occupational Level 1 equivalent and can be used in the workplace.
This course includes comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid, CPR and AED use!
Whether you need training for employment or simply want to be prepared to respond to life-threatening emergencies, this course will give you the skills and knowledge to act with confidence.
In addition to the material covered in Emergency First Aid, candidates will learn how to treat head/neck injuries, soft tissue and musco-skeletal injuries and medical emergencies.
