The Bearded Dragon is continuing Standard Regional Championship Qualifier season with our second Standard RCQ!Why Friday?
Weekends can be jam-packed, so we’re giving players a chance to earn their Regional Championship invite on Friday night without sacrificing weekend plans. Win your invite Friday, then relax the rest of the weekend—no grinding required! Whether you’re chasing the championship or just want high-level competition, this is your chance.
Event Details
Date: Friday, October 3rd
Start Time: 6:30 PM (decklists due by 6:20 PM)
Entry Fee: $55
Location: The Bearded Dragon, 121 Claremont Road, Bernardsville, NJ
Format: Standard
Structure: Swiss rounds with a cut to Top 8.
• 16 or fewer players: one extra Swiss round + cut to Top 4 (prizes still to Top 8).
• More than 16 players: five Swiss rounds + cut to Top 8.
Prize Support (based on 32 players, final structure may vary)
1st & 2nd: $250 cash travel stipend, Regional Championship qualification, Foil Laughing Jasper Flint promo
3rd & 4th: $100 store credit
5th–8th: $75 store credit
Top 8: Two regular Laughing Jasper Flint promo cards + Top 8 pin
Winner’s Lanyard: Highest-seeded finalist entering elimination rounds
All Participants: Two Shoot the Sheriff promo cards
Tournament Procedures
Decklists: Must be submitted by 6:20 PM to [email protected]
or in person. Late lists may receive penalties; most recent timestamp counts as final.
Round One Pairings: Posted at 6:30 PM sharp. All players must be seated, decklist submitted, and joined in the Companion app.
Companion Code: Sent via email. Failure to join before Round One will result in a Round One match loss. Players will be added for Round Two.
